HR-36 ~ SEABISCUIT ~
A Limited Edition Fine Art Print
November 1, 1938. Seabiscuit and War Admiral thunder past the stately Members Clubhouse at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. Replacement jockey George Woolf has tapped the insight of Red Pollard, Seabiscuit's regular rider. "Gun him from the start and let War Admiral catch up," advised the injured Pollard. "When another horse looks Seabiscuit in the eye, he begins to run to parts unknown." Seabiscuit went on to defeat the 1937 Triple Crown winner by three widening lengths in a race many turf historians deem the greatest ever.
