After the Jayhawks threw a full-court pass and missed a shot at the buzzer, West Virginia fans poured out onto the court for a robust rendition of “Take Me Home, Country Roads” to celebrate the win. The Mountaineers scored 17 points off turnovers and had 22 offensive rebounds that led to 15 second-chance points in the victory. This ESPN nationally televised game, played at the WVU Coliseum, marked the second consecutive time the Mountaineers beat the Jayhawks in Morgantown.
